What you can expect from BBSI

Business owners working with BBSI typically move through three stages.

 

STAGE 1: Tactical Alignment – 3 to 6 months

The first stage addresses the administrative and tactical components of managing your employees.

  • Analysis of safety programs and HR practices
  • Establish payroll submission and administration protocol
  • Hiring, selection and new hire on-boarding best practices
  • Employee manual review and/or development
  • Employee terminations, leaves of absence, and wage and hour guidance
  • Review and/or development of safety programs including IIPP

STAGE 3: Business-level guidance – 18 months and beyond

Activities involved in the third stage of the relationship are more strategic and forward-looking with a goal of cultivating an environment in your organization in which employees and supervisors drive the success of the organization instead of you, the business owner. Payroll

  • TimeClock Plus system for tracking and entering employee time
  • Receive hours manually or via BBSI website platform
  • Provide payroll preview for client review and approval prior to processing
  • Calculate, print, sign, and seal checks
  • Options for Direct Deposit, Physical Checks, or Visa Paycard
  • Set up and process all deductions including taxes, garnishments, child support orders, levies, liens, health insurance, 401k, etc.
  • Provide reports to management
  • Calculate and deposit Federal and State payroll and UI taxes when due
  • Prepare and file all quarterly payroll tax and UI returns
  • Complete year-end tax filings including W-2’s and 940
